The Betrayal of Scott Brown

America, I come to you tonight bearing terrible news.  We have been betrayed.  Remember Scott Brown?  Remember how we cheered him and his promises of fiscal responsibility all the way through an amazing upset victory and on to Washington?  Well, Brown got to participate in his first vote in the Senate on the Jobs bill.  The following is from his Facebook page:

“I came to Washington to be an independent voice, to put politics aside, and to do everything in my power to help create jobs for Massachusetts families. This Senate jobs bill is not perfect. I wish the tax cuts were deeper and broader, but I am voting for it because it contains measures that will help put people back to work. … I hope for improvements in that process going forward.”

That’s right, he voted FOR the jobs bill.  He caved to liberal idealism that the government, not the market, must be the one to create jobs and get our country back on track.  He voted for a bill he didn’t fully support in hopes that it would just be better down the road.  He voted for an increase in spending which will add to our already outrageous debt; the same debt he campaigned on the promise to fight to reduce.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I feel numb.  I’m seriously about to cry.  What a crushing blow.  Our champion is a liar!  Our hope is a sham!  You all remember how excited I was during the Massachusetts election and the posts I made about it.  This could have meant so much in our fight to save America.  It seems the Democrats still have their super-majority after all.

It looks like we must screen our candidates even harder from now on.  It seems there are those willing to take paths and use strategies even more disgusting than those of our president and other members of the liberal agenda.  There are those who will ride the waves of public outcry on a vessel built of depict.

“Freedom Watch News” no longer supports Scott Brown.  Please help spread the word about what has happened.  The news is grave but it must be shared.  Let your friends know and let us cry out to Scott Brown that his betrayal will be his downfall.

I’m suddenly finding nothing to have hope for anymore…
